Mark Tarnopolsky, MD, PhD

Dr. Tarnopolsky is the division head of Neuromuscular and Neurometabolic Disorders at McMaster Children’s Hospital. He has a strong clinical and basic science interest in the benefits of exercise and nutrition for muscle diseases (including Pompe disease), mitochondrial genetic disorders, aging, athletes and obesity. He has published over 600 peer reviewed papers and has an h-index of 150.
